THE DOVERS – “We're Not Just Anybody” (Remastered 2025 Edition) LP

Finally available again!

THE DOVERS from Santa Barbara, California! Thee legendary Mid-Sixties Folk-Punk Psych masters' singles collection finally see an upgraded reissue. All the singles A & B sides transferred in 2001 from Mark Taylor's pristine Dovers singles and mastered at Sounds Interesting studios by Erik Lindgren (of . Arf Arf Records' fame) have been carefully re-mastered for a superior audiophile experience.

The new - gatefold edition - on 12" provides extensive and updated liner notes besides the awesome research done by worldwide Gararge expert #1, Mike Markesich who made it all possible since day one, interviewing the members of this extremely rare but sough-after by Garage Folk and Psych collectors worldwide, enriched by a great article/interview with the band done by Sixties expert Domenic Priore. .

While in the past decade the limited pressing of 500 copies have been autorized by the band, a few years ago a lame bootleg of this collection appeared on the US market, making its price circulating at 100$ and more. Since then here at Misty Lane we've tried a few upgrades but nothing sounded as good as today's result. When a team of experts gather in a unique studio like the FORWARDS studios you can bet it brings a (probably unexpected) awesome result. This is what happened, a new release, on 12" this time (a few customers during the past 25 years have criticized the original 10" format, so there you go...).

We've also given a slightly different graphic twist:a lighter design but at the same time richer in information, we hope you'll like it.  A limited edition of only 150 numbered copies has been pressed, so be sure to pre order yours now. Distributors will probably ignore this release so it'd be useless to press more. Useless to say the price of this release is going to stop the rush that has been on Discogs in recent years. That said you can always look for the original singles of this fantastic band, provided that you have a few tens of thousands of dollars! ;-).
